01THE STORY

Property Financing at the Roadshow

The Home Lands Property Investment Roadshow brought together residential property opportunities and access to financing consultations.

Commercial Bank, HNB, Sampath Bank, NDB and DFCC were named among the five supporting banking institutions.

Their involvement centred on property funding options, consultations and potential financing arrangements for homebuyers.

02THE STORY

HNB and Home Lands

Hatton National Bank has an established home-loan relationship with Home Lands.

Home Lands published information about its banking partnership with HNB in May 2023.

A further home-loan agreement between HNB and Home Lands was formalised on 20 June 2025, with details reported by Daily FT in July 2025.

HNB also participated as a financing institution at the February 2026 Home Lands roadshow.

The home-loan relationship concerns property financing and is distinct from the organization of the Mercedes-Benz prize promotion.

03THE STORY

Commercial Bank, Sampath Bank, NDB and DFCC

Alongside HNB, Commercial Bank, Sampath Bank, NDB and DFCC participated in the roadshow's property financing activities.

Their representatives were available during the event for discussions about homeownership funding and available banking arrangements.

The financing partners formed part of the wider property investment event, while the Mercedes-Benz promotional announcement was made by Home Lands.

04THE STORY

NDB's Roadshow Participation

NDB's involvement was also covered in a March 2026 report describing its participation in the Property Investment Roadshow.

The report focused on home-loan facilities, personalised banking assistance and financing choices for property customers.

05THE STORY

Property Loans and the Mercedes-Benz Promotion

The event brought two related themes together: property ownership supported by financing partners, and a vehicle promotion announced by the property developer.

The banks' participation in financing activities does not make them the organizers of the vehicle draw.

Property financing decisions remain matters for the relevant bank and customer, while the campaign belongs to Home Lands.

06THE STORY

How property finance fits into the roadshow story

Banks can support property exhibitions by explaining mortgage products, repayment structures and affordability calculations. Those roles are separate from organizing an automotive prize draw.

For a reader comparing housing options, useful questions include the deposit, interest-rate structure, repayment period, total borrowing costs and whether a quoted rate can change.

07THE STORY

Separating financial partners from the prize organizer

HNB, Commercial Bank, Sampath Bank, NDB and DFCC were named in coverage of the property event as participating lenders. Their presence at an event does not, by itself, make them the promoters or sponsors of a separate prize campaign.

For clarity, this publication keeps the banking partnerships in their own section and identifies Home Lands Group separately in the campaign overview.

08THE STORY

Financing at the roadshow versus operating a draw

The roadshow included financial institutions to help prospective buyers explore property finance. That service exists alongside the promotion but is conceptually separate from prize administration.

HNB also has a separately documented relationship with Home Lands around housing finance, which predates the 2026 event. The partnership adds context to the bank’s presence, rather than changing who announced the Mercedes-Benz campaign.
