PUBLICATION INFORMATIONPOLICIES / SRI LANKA

Editorial Policy

How the journal researches, attributes, updates and corrects its coverage.

01THE STORY

Editorial standards

The journal prioritises original explanations, chronological context and clear distinctions between campaign announcements, published reporting, opinions and subsequent updates. Our summaries should not be passed off as official instructions.

02THE STORY

Sources and attribution

Where available, factual claims about promotional announcements, partnerships and dates are linked to published news reports or primary organisational material. Photographic credits and usage terms are collected on the Image Credits page.

03THE STORY

Updates and corrections

Readers may request corrections through the Contact page. Material changes will be reviewed against the relevant source, and dated updates may be published where they affect an earlier article.

Where a video or later statement is reported, the publication should attach a working source URL and distinguish it from older announcements.

04THE STORY

Advertising and commercial independence

An advertiser cannot purchase a factual conclusion. Any future sponsored content or paid placement should be clearly labelled, and relationships with the companies mentioned should be stated when they exist.

05THE STORY

Editorial contact

Use the Contact page to locate the publisher’s current correspondence details. The publisher must add a working contact email before public advertising.
